ELIGIBILITY
Competitors must be in good standing with a recognized Martial Arts school or club. The Buckeye Championships reserves the right to refuse entry to any competitors, school owner or spectator as deemed in the best interest of this event.
GRAND CHAMPION: Grand Champions will be calculated by a total number of points across all events participated in by each competitor.
VALOR AWARD: Compete in 4 or more events to earn a special Valor Award Medal! This award is given to recognize the athlete who puts forth the extra effort and shows their dedication to the arts by participating in multiple events!
SCHOOL SUPPORT: Awards will be given to the schools who show the most support!
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Clean uniform in good condition. Competitor’s fingernails and toenails must be trimmed. Sparring competitors must have the necessary gear explained in the Rules. Long hair must be tied back.

- Gold (with competitors): 7 points
- Uncontested Gold: 5 points
- Silver: 3 points
- Bronze: 1 point
- TIE BREAKER: Who faced more competitors in total
- If STILL tied: who registered for more events
- If STILL tied: who broke higher number of boards
- Grand Champion Age Groups:
- 12 and under Male and Female
- 13-17 Male and Female
- 18+ Male and Female

- Postmarked on or before 10/05/2024: $80 for 1 event
- Postmarked between 10/6/2022-10/12/2024: $85 for 1 event
- Each additional event $10.00
- Board fee: $3.00 each

- No outside food or drink in the facility. Concessions will be available in the facility.
- Boards must be purchased at the tournament (or pre-purchased with online registration) to ensure fairness.
- Judges’ decisions are final. Competitors and coaches must maintain proper conduct.
